This role involves providing direct patient care in all facets of
respiratory therapy, following the directives of physicians. You
will also consult with doctors regarding the effectiveness of
treatments and serve as a key resource for both medical staff and
nursing teams on respiratory matters. Additional responsibilities
will be assigned as needed. Position Overview: Location:Our
Healthcare Facility1400 US Highway 61Festus, MO
63028Schedule:Full-Time (36 hours per week) Weekends ELIGIBLE FOR
STRAIGHT SHIFT WEEKEND WORK! Requirements: Education: Completion of
a CoArc accredited Respiratory Care program. Licensure: Must
fulfill state licensing criteria and possess a valid Respiratory
Care Practitioner (RCP) license. Experience: Prior experience in
critical care is preferred. Certifications: Must hold the
Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential from the National
Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC). For those working in the
Emergency Room, PALS certification is required, while Acute Cardiac
Life Support (ACLS) certification is preferred. Physical
Requirements: Ability to push, pull, and grip up to 50 lbs, pinch
up to 10 lbs, and perform minimal kneeling, crouching, and
crawling. Familiarity with all relevant respiratory care equipment
