Job Description Job Description Construction Safety Manager Location: Reno, NV Duration: 8 Months (Start 1/12/2026) Type: 1099 Contractor Position Details Hourly Rate: $56/HR (local) Per Diem: No perdiem Completion Bonus: $150/month Pay Frequency: Weekly Schedule: 40 hours, M-F, 8 hour shifts, 1st shift - 6am - 230pm Project Scope Safety Manager for a drywall/framing contractor on a data center build. Qualifications OSHA 510 or higher with 10 years of experience Must have drywall/framing experience Data center experience is a huge plus Key Responsibilities Conduct regular safety audits, inspections, and risk assessments Safety Documentation (digital) is the most important Support incident investigations, report findings, and implement corrective actions Be eyes and ears for this project. Be extremely present in the field and involved. Deliver safety training and orientation for employees, subcontractors, and new hires Collaborate with project teams to proactively identify safety risks and mitigate hazards Maintain safety performance, incident, and compliance documentation and reports Promote a safety-first culture across all levels of the organization Skills & Knowledge Skills: Excellent public speaking and communication abilities Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel) Strong organizational and multitasking abilities Ability to work independently and collaboratively Professionalism and confidentiality with sensitive information Knowledge: Strong understanding of EHS and industry regulatory standards in construction Ability to effectively communicate safety principles and regulations Equal Opportunity Employer Sheakley is committed to providing equal employment opportunities to all individuals, regardless of race, color, religion, age, sex, marital status, national origin, disability, or any other protected status.
