Job Description
The Renovation Specialist reports to the Maintenance Supervisor & Property Manager and is responsible for managing & completing the full spectrum of interior unit renovations. The Renovation Specialist is responsible for completing upgrades & all aspects of the turnover to deliver a high quality apartment to incoming residents. The Renovation Specialist's primary responsibilities include inspecting upcoming move-outs to assess necessary upgrades, preparing renovation supply orders, installing upgraded finishes including electrical, plumbing, hardware, appliances & finish carpentry items, scheduling vendors for trades not completed in house. You may at times be required to assist the maintenance team on regular work orders & other general property/grounds maintenance & upkeep. On call & some weekend availability may be required.

COMPENSATION

EDUCATION


  • High school diploma or equivalent required; Associates degree preferred

    EXPERIENCE

    • At least one (1) year experience in apartment or hospitality strongly preferred

      Responsibilities

      • Finish carpentry, interior painting, hardware replacement.
      • Experience with small hand & power tools.
      • Experience moving & working on appliances.
      • Must be able to lift and work with heavy equipment
      • A valid driver's license, good driving record and proof of insurance is required
      • Proven success working on a multi-unit property
      • Strong organizational, interpersonal, leadership and basic computer skills
      • A passion to serve residents, parents, vendors, and colleagues
