Company :Highmark Inc.Job Description :Job Description JOB SUMMARYThis job supports Federal Markets by maintaining a broad, enterprise-wide view of the business and demonstrating varying degrees of appreciation for strategy, processes and various platform capabilities, enabling technologies, and governance. Guides the principles, direction and standards as it relates to the business process solution framework. Takes a lead role in defining, preparing and modeling current and future state Federal Markets business process flows that can be used in future analysis to extend and mature the business architecture and perform gap analysis. Conduct interviews and facilitate meetings with business partners to derive and validate business process models and drive operational efficiencies, controls and quality. Serves as a subject matter expert and liaison conveying information needs of the business to IT and data constraints to the business. Develops and applies a structured business architecture strategy and methodology in relation to the platforms and technology based on individual Federal Markets segment business area needs and strategic direction. Identify and developrecommendations for business process or workflow issues within the organization. Continually refreshing, evaluating, and maintaining the current and future state of the business, artifacts, and related interfaces of the Enterprise Architecture, Business, Information, System, Technology and Security Architecture. Serves as a mentor to other team members.ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIESDevelop and maintain business process flows, value stream maps, and referencearchitectures for complex processes spanning multiple product areas. Create conceptualmodels demonstrating how people, process and technology interoperate within theorganization. Partner with Business Leads to develop and maintain capability roadmapsinformed by industry research and business strategy.Monitor industry architecture trends and determine the benefits of modifying or expanding theframework.Operational implementation and adoption of new business processes. Work closely with theproject manager, technical architect, and the rest of the implementation team to ensure properdelivery of the solution. Work closely with operational change management team to ensurebusiness process changes are properly understood and documented for use in DLPs that willbe used for client training.Business process re-engineering driven from business process activities leveraging industrybest practices. Work with internal product/programs to validate business decisions whenneeded. Lead the development and update of artifacts detailing capability gaps that mayimpede the business strategic positioning from reaching full and required potentialConsulting and collaborating with other areas architectural teams that contribute to theEnterprise Architecture.Support numerous product areas in developing a multi-year technology strategy and roadmapfor the customer for new/changed technology solutions, anticipating potential impacts onbusiness processes, structures and governance.Maintain an awareness of strategic industry trends. Partner with Business Leaders to prioritizefeature level evolution. Support the Client relationship team and sales team in developing amulti-year business capability strategy and roadmap for the customer for new/changedtechnology solutions, anticipating potential impacts on business processes, structures andgovernance.Represent Highmark to outside vendors, suppliers, and business partners.
