Summary:

The Maintenance Technician II is responsible for maintaining, repairing equipment, physical structure, plumbing, electrical and hydraulic equipment. The job requires the person to exhibit good knowledge of safety, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and mechanical abilities.



Responsibilities:

• Must be able to work and promote safety in the workplace, keep 5S updated and keep machines operating as expected.
• Assemble and repair equipment and materials per the production department and companys quality system procedures
• Utilize a variety of hand and power tools to perform repair of equipment in accordance with quality standards
• Maintain maintenance records and schedules
• Interpret maintenance manuals, pneumatic, hydraulic and electrical schematics
• Ability to drive Powered Industrial Trucks (PIT) scissor lifts, and other machinery as needed
• Perform other duties as assigned

  • The Maintenance Technician II will report directly to the Operations Manager. You will also receive direction from other managers that will coordinate with the Operations Manager.
    
    
    
    Requirements
    
    Qualifications:
    
    
    • High School diploma or equivalent
    • 3-5 years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing/assembly environment
    • Hands on experience with engineering drawings and specifications, ability to read and interpret diagrams and bill of materials
    • Exhibit good knowledge of safety, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, mechanical ability with a background in CNC machines.
    • Knowledge of ISO 9001-2015
    • Good Working knowledge and use of hand tools, power tools and test equipment.
    • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite
    • Good Communication skills
    • Ability to work in a team environment with fellow employees and managers
    • Flexibility to work priority schedules and overtime
      
      
      
      Physical Requirements:
      
      
      • Stand and walk up to eight hours per day, plus overtime as called
      • Ability to work in a seated, standing, or prone position
      • Ability to lift 35 lbs continuously
