Job Type: Full-TimeSalary: $825 per week ($15 per hour base pay + 10 hours of overtime, can increase based on previous electronic component assembly experience)EE Technologies is an electronics manufacturer in Reno's South Meadows. We are looking for reliable and motivated people to join our team on the production floor and in the warehouse for light assembly. We have sitting and standing positions available. We offer on-the-job training for all positions including: assembly, kitting, shipping, and receiving. Our facility is heated, air conditioned, clean, and quiet so you will always be working in a comfortable environment.   • 9 paid holidays per yearJob SummaryThe Production Associate works in a variety of areas to ensure product is prepared, assembled, and shipped accurately and on time. The Production Associate assembles electronic units including circuit board assemblies, refurbishments or mechanical builds in a repetitive workstation or line assembly operation. The Production Associate can also be responsible for inventory accuracy including physical and system inventory. The Production Associate is expected to follow standard work methods and practices safe work habits to ensure production is efficient and quality is built in, actively participate in team meetings, problem solving, process improvement, and helping all team members finish daily tasks.Responsibilities
    • Assembles mechanical builds following specifications and using hand and/or power tools.
    • Inspects units to detect defects or malfunctions, and adjusts, repairs, or replaces component parts to ensure conformance to specifications using standard work methods.
    • Positions, aligns, and adjusts workpieces and electrical parts to facilitate wiring and assembly.
    • Operates equipment such as de-paneling machines and air driven presses. Will also use various hand tools.
    • Confers with Team Leader or Engineering to plan and review work activities and to resolve production problems.
    • Marks and tags or scans assemblies or components to track and identify stock inventory.
    • Packs finished assemblies to ensure protection for shipment and transports to storage areas.
    • Cleans work area and shop floor as needed or assigned.
    • Receiving - counting parts, checking packing slips for accuracy, processing receipts, labeling of parts, put away of parts into stockroom locations, working with buyers to resolve vendor discrepancies.
    • Kitting - individual ownership of inventory, providing excellent customer service to all customers, picking parts from inventory locations, cycle counting, maintaining excellent organization and cleanliness of the stockroom, accurate labeling, kit verification, and troubleshooting discrepancies.
    • Shipping - Packaging finished goods, preparing and processing shipments, domestic and international shipping, performing deliveries and pickups in all weather conditions, accurate inventory of all finished goods, accurate transaction of all finished goods, troubleshooting discrepancies.
    • Cross train into other skill sets in order to facilitate flexibility in production.
    • Maintain a predictable and reliable attendance record by being at work and on time daily
    • May be asked to perform other duties at a lower level or higher level of proficiency or not related to this classification on occasion.Education/ Experience Requirements
      • General assembly or warehouse experience preferred.
      • High School diploma or GED preferred.
      • Electronic manufacturing experience preferred.
