JOB SUMMARY/OVERVIEW-- Under the general supervision of the Benefits Tier 2 leader, the Sr. Analyst, Benefits Tier 2 is responsible for providing benefit administration and extraordinary customer service to our clients, client worksite employees (WSEs), colleagues, and business partners. The Sr. Analyst, Benefits Tier 2 delivers on-demand solutions by prioritizing and collaborating internally to ensure benefit related inquiries are processed in a timely and accurate manner, with a high emphasis on quality. This role is a subject matter authority and provides training and support to internal colleagues. The Sr. Analyst contributes to TriNet's customer retention strategy and customer satisfaction goals by providing an experience that is friendly, professional, and empathetic.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES-- --- Provides client support related to strategic benefit initiatives, funding, and compliance during quarterly Benefits Investment Strategy (BIS).-- --- Audits and approves benefit funding changes in a timely manner.-- --- Assisting in quarterly Benefits Investment Strategy (BIS) activities such as systems testing, pre-BIS queries, BIS extensions and prep work.-- --- Resolves moderate to sophisticated inquiries, escalating more complex inquires to the appropriate Tier 3 team.-- --- Partners with other benefit departments to develop benefits training for internal colleagues and furthers the development of the Benefits Knowledge Database.-- --- Provides subject matter expertise and support to the Tier 1 Benefit Center, and trains entry-level new team members and colleagues assisting from other departments.-- --- Answers incoming client and WSE benefit inquiries (via phone, email, and chat) related to the administration of Medical, Dental, Vision, Supplemental, COBRA, Flexible Compensation, and Retirement plans.-- --- Addresses system and data errors to ensure accurate processing of enrollments including new hire, qualifying life status changes, and open enrollment.-- --- Handles and resolves open cases in the CRM system with a high emphasis on timeliness and quality, keeping customers regularly informed of status and anticipated resolution.
--- Builds and maintains effective business relationships with all internal departments (payroll, tax, 401(k), legal, sales, products, account management, benefits) to resolve customer facing issues and identify process improvement opportunities.-- --- Initiates and owns professional development.-- --- Other projects and responsibilities may be added at the manager's discretion.

JOB REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS-- Education:-- --- Associate's degree required in HR, Business, or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience. Bachelor's degree strongly preferred.-- Training Requirements (licenses, programs, or certificates):-- --- Benefit certification preferred (CBP, CFC, CRC, CRPS, CEBS) but not required-- Experience:-- --- Minimum of three (3) years of benefit administration experience-- --- Experience with PeopleSoft, SalesForce, Calabrio, or other HRIS, CRM, and Telephony systems preferred.-- --- Experience working in a HR Outsourcing/PEO environment preferred.-- Other Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:-- --- Ability to complete routine work with little to no supervision and instruction, and general instruction over new projects or assignments.-- --- Demonstrates ability to work on problems of diverse scope where analysis of data requires evaluation of identifiable factors. Demonstrates good judgment in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions.-- --- Ability to connect with employees at all levels of the organization, especially by Networks with senior internal and external personnel in own area of expertise. Work typically impacts direct peers, supervisors, and cross functional partners.-- --- Capable of applying a full understanding of benefits to resolve a wide range of issues in creative ways.-- --- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications including Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.-- --- Proven experience in customer service environment.-- --- Thorough knowledge of office practices and employee benefit procedures.-- --- Fluency in English, bilingual a plus-- --- Strong interpersonal communications skills with the ability to communicate at all levels of the organization and influence others in pursuit of company goals.-- --- Excellent written communication skills-- --- Highly organized and strong time-management skills-- --- Ability to work well within a team in an office.-- --- Ability to maintain confidentiality of corporate data-- --- Ability to independently resolve issues-- --- A proven commitment to high professional ethical standards and a diverse workplace

WORK ENVIRONMENT/OTHER INFORMATION (Travel required, physical requirements, on-call schedules, etc.)-- --- Work in clean, pleasant, and comfortable office setting-- --- May be frequently required to mobilize around the work area, use hands and fingers, reach with hands and arms, speak with clients, and be present continuously at a workstation for up to three (3) consecutive hours.-- --- Must have the ability to use a computer mouse, keyboard, telephone, and other equipment typically found in an office environment.
