  Your Role as a Substance Abuse Counselor:In this role, you will:
  • Conduct BPS (Biopsychosocial) assessments during intake to support client evaluations.
  • Facilitate education, family, and process groups that foster recovery and empowerment.
  • Provide individual counseling sessions, including treatment planning and discharge planning.
  • Coordinate care with internal teams and external partners to ensure comprehensive and seamless client care.
  • Utilize person-centered treatment planning and Motivational Interviewing techniques to support clients on their recovery journey.

            Experience: 3 years of counseling experience (Preferred).
            Certifications:
            • CADC or LADC (Preferred).
            • MFTI or ACSW (Preferred).
            • LMFT, LCSW, or PsyD (Preferred)
              Skills: Candidates with experience in person-centered treatment planning and Motivational Interviewing techniques are highly encouraged to apply.
