Jacobs Entertainment is currently in search of a "Gift Shop Supervisor" for the All-NewJ Resort. The J Resort is a full-service hotel-casino with over 300 rooms and wide variety of Slots and Table Games.   Essential Job Responsibilities and Duties:
  
  • Manage gift shop staff including hiring, training, scheduling and supervising
  • Schedules all cashiers breaks and lunches on assigned shift to ensure uninterrupted service
  • Ensure the gift shop has adequate inventory and that it is properly displayed
  • Ensure customers are greeted warmly, offered assistance and provided with excellent customer service
  • Must be knowledgeable about the products sold and answer questions related to them
  • Responsible for operations that are compliant with all relevant laws and regulations
  • Manage finances including maintaining accurate records
    
    Skills, Education and Other Requirements
    
    • High School Diploma or Equivalent Work Experience
    • Must be fluent in English
    • Ability to read
    • Must possess basic computer skills and ability to use 10-key
    • Previous cash handling experience is preferred
    • Previous supervision in a retail environment preferred
    • Identification that establishes identity
    • Identification that establishes the right to work in the United States
