Job Description:

• Our client, a respected and established P&C Insurer in the Reno area has an immediate need for a Senior Personal Lines Underwriter to join their team. They have been around for over 100 years & serve CA, WA, OR, NV, and AZ.
  • In this role, the Senior Personal Lines Underwriter will be responsible for reviewing and analyzing personal lines insurance submissions, applications and renewal business for the auto, homeowner, dwelling fire and personal excess portfolio. You will also be responsible for special projects, assisting agents, mentoring junior underwriting staff, and meet department production requirements. Qualifications: College degree preferred (or equivalent experience) or 3+ years of personal lines underwriting experience.Compensation: This position includes a base salary in the 47k - 68k/year range depending on experience, plus a full benefits package including medical, dental, 401k, PTO, Paid Holidays, etc. This is a hybrid schedule (3 days in office, 2 days remote). For remote work, you'd receive a laptop, 2 monitors, docking station, phone, keyboard, headset, etc. Our client is looking for someone with customer service experience/mentality, and good business and technical acumen.
