HSH is looking for a motivated and hard working candidate to join our team as a marijuana cultivation grow tech. As a grow tech, you will be responsible for working daily with the plants. This will include but is not limited to: Watering, pruning, cloning, transplanting and feeding under the direction of the Cultivation Manager. You will also assist other team members with harvesting and cleaning/resetting the grow rooms. This job requires an attention to detail and a good team work ethic. *Essential Functions*


* Propagating cannabis: popping seeds and cloning from mother plants, leafing/pruning, watering/feeding, transplanting.

* Harvesting cannabis: cutting down and weighing, bucking and hanging harvested plants.

* Cleaning and maintenance: maintain a clean and organized work environment, including general maintenance of equipment, sweeping, mopping, wiping down surfaces; post-harvest cleaning.

*Work Environment*


The employee will be expected to work inside in a controlled warehouse/greenhouse and growing atmosphere.


*Physical Demands*


The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.


* Must be able to lift up to 65 pounds

* Must be able to maneuver between growing tables that are 24 inches apart

* The employee must also be able to repeatedly carry 15-20 pounds the length of the facility.


*Position Type/Expected Hours of Work*


This position is full-time (32-40 hours/wk) and includes Saturdays and Sundays. For the right candidate, this could be a part-time position (Saturday-Sunday only).


*Required Education and Experience*


* Basic math skills

* Highschool diploma or GED

* Must be able to use a computer and iPad.


.*Preferred Education and Experience*


* Prior nursery, landscaping, warehouse work preferred - _*cannabis experience is not necessary*_.


*Additional Eligibility Qualifications*


* Ability to work effectively and in a cohesive team atmosphere, but also must be a self-starter who can get things done efficiently.

* Must be able to work in a safety aware environment.


*Work Authorization/Security Clearance*


* Must be 21 years of age or older

* Must be able to pass a background check as defined in *NRS 453A.332 *and must not have been convicted of an excluded felony offense as defined in *NRS 453A.053*

* Possess valid driver's license or state ID.

* Must be and remain compliant with all legal or company regulations for working in the industry.


Job Types: Full-time, Part-time


Pay: $15.00 - $16.00 per hour
