Opportunity! Senior Business Process Specialist Remote Opportunity
General Summary: The Senior Business Process Specialist will drive
a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence,
while providing critical support for EMPLOYERS key strategic
initiatives to elevate the customer experience with a focus on
automation and efficient operating models. Activities include
planning, performing, and implementing process improvement
initiatives. These activities may represent one portion of a larger
project or may represent a stand-alone initiative. Additional
functions may include data gathering and analysis, best practice
research, process mapping, developing and recommending alternatives
for improvement, developing performance metrics, obtaining
leadership or stakeholder agreement, implementing improvements, and
monitoring post-process improvement initiative performance to
updated standards. The Lead Business Process Specialist should
utilize an expertise in Lean Six Sigma methods to lead, execute and
deliver results on process improvement initiatives. HP22 Essential
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Process Optimization and Design: Leverage Lean Six Sigma,
Design for Six Sigma, Rapid Improvement and Agile methods to
improve cost, quality, and speed for business processes, work
systems, decision making systems, or implement new processes.
- Serve as a critical leader to help enable the successful
execution of key strategic initiatives.
- Transformational Change: Perform large scale assessments of
opportunities for department-wide or cross-functional improvement
efforts. Lead change management activities associated with process
improvement for highly complex initiatives.
- Strategic Planning: Facilitate a standard approach to define
focus, identify priorities, and ensure alignment throughout the
organization.
- Consulting: Serve as a thought-partner; provide benchmarking
data, research, metric development, facilitation, and more.
Independently initiates, identifies and coordinates the analysis of
complex client needs in project areas such as: new and existing
business operating models, innovative approaches to solutions,
market research of emerging or available product functionality and
operational readiness assessment.
- Training: Ability to train, coach and mentor Lean Six Sigma
Green Belts, managers, leaders, process owners, project champions
and others in the Lean Six Sigma methodology. Job Requirements:
- Lean Six Sigma Black Belt Certification or equivalent process
improvement experience.
- Strong leadership capability. Demonstrated ability to manage
and lead teams, facilitate teams and multifunctional activities.
Coaching and mentoring experience with Lean Six Sigma Green
Belts.
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration/Management or a
related field.
- Project Management Certification
- 5-7 years related experience in project management and Lean Six
Sigma.
- Possess advanced proficiency with MS Office products including
but not limited to: Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, Visio and
Outlook.
- Effective communicator, both written and oral. Dynamic and
effective presentations skills at all levels of an organization
with the ability to translate concepts into practical
application.
- Occasional business travel, upon request, when needed.
- Ability to demonstrate company core values. An equivalent
combination of education and experience may be substituted for the
requirements listed above. Salary Range: $75,000 - $90,000 Work
Environment/Physical Demands: This job operates in a remote
professional office environment.
- This is largely a sedentary role; however, some mobility is
required.
- May work early, late, or occasional weekend hours to
accommodate business needs.
- Occasional lifting of a maximum of 30lbs.
- Minimal travel to other office locations/meeting locations
occasionally necessary.
