website.About the Goldfield District ProjectLocated on the Walker
Lane trend in Esmeralda County, Nevada, about 30 miles south of
Tonopah, the Goldfield District Project can be accessed via U.S.
Highway 95 from Las Vegas or Reno. This newly-acquired project is
an underexplored property in a prolific mining jurisdiction that
provides substantial upside potential.Goldfield is a conventional
open-pit, heap leach project that contains three known deposits:
Gemfield, Goldfield Main, and McMahon Ridge. These are to be
developed in a two-phase approach, starting with operations in the
Gemfield deposit in 2022.Goldfield District Project promotes a drug
and alcohol-free workplace and has adopted a zero-tolerance policy
with respect to alcohol or unauthorized drugs on site.About the
OpportunityWe have an exciting opportunity for a full-time Senior
Project Geologist to join our team in Goldfield District Project in
Goldfield, Nevada, to help lead exploration at a historic
gold-producing district in Nevada.Reporting to the Exploration
Manager, USA, the Senior Project Geologist will be a core member of
a talented team responsible for planning, leading, and executing
exploration activities at the Goldfield Project in Nevada. To
accomplish this, you will work in close association with corporate
exploration and technical services personnel, and mine site
personnel.Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited
to:Overseeing the planning and execution of geological mapping,
geochemical sampling, and geophysical surveysInterpreting
exploration results and providing recommendations to advance
projectsGenerating drill targets, collaborate on drill hole
planning and permitting, execute drill programs, and ensure the
collection of quality geologic dataSupervising, leading, and
mentoring junior geologists and field techniciansImplementing and
overseeing QA/QC protocols to ensure the highest quality of
dataProviding regular reports on activities and findingsEnsuring
projects are delivered within budget and completed in a timely and
safe mannerFollowing Centerra Gold health and safety, community
relations, and environmental best practicesMaintaining and building
the strong links with the Bureau of Land Management and other
government departmentsAbout YouTo qualify, you must have a
University Degree in Geology, as well as a minimum of 10 years of
experience in mineral exploration and/or mining, ideally with
experience in western USA epithermal projects.Our ideal candidate
will also possess the following:Thorough knowledge of the range of
ore deposit models in the western USA, specifically those styles of
mineral occurrences relevant to the company's businessThorough
knowledge of state-of-the-art exploration techniques, integrating
geologic mapping, geophysics, and geochemistrySkill in producing
geologic maps and sections from surface and subsurface
dataExperience working with drill contractors and supervising
drilling, core handling, and loggingHigh level of proficiency with
ArcGIS or MapInfo/Discover and acQuire. Exhibit an
interest/aptitude for further learning of such systemsKnowledge of
OSC reporting regulations, such as National Instrument 43-101, is
also desirableStrong communications skills, a team player with a
strong inclination towards developing cooperative solutionsLastly,

report writing and presentation skills will be essential to your
