Job DescriptionThe University of Nevada, Reno's Office of Information Technology is recruiting for multiple student worker positions within the Unified Communications and Network Operations (UCNO) department.A successful candidate must be driven, innovative and effectively communicates within a team environment both in person and digitally.Responsibilities

  • The student worker will be responsible for data intake/validation, Tier 1 customer service, and some basic technical support for all UC service requests
  • This position will also work on documentation or training materials to increase efficiency and consistency within the context of customer service and technical support in UCNO
  • Employees will independently work with customers to fix routine telecommunications issues, troubleshoot general set-up or repair issues, and document issues and resolution in the OIT ticketing system
  • They will also be responsible for ticket triage to other groups or departmentsRequired Qualifications
    • Candidate must be enrolled at the University of Nevada, Reno
    • Ability to lift 50lbs
    • Ability to go up and down a 10+ ft ladderPreferred Qualifications
