Chemours is seeking a **Data Engineer** to join our growing **Enterprise Data Services** team! This position will report directly to the **Director of Enterprise Data Services** in our **Wilmington, DE** location. This Data Engineer role will work to expand and enhance the data pipelines running into our Enterprise Data Services (EDS) platform - a cloud-based, common access point for Chemours data enabling Digital transformation across the company, including our global network of manufacturing sites. **The responsibilities of the position include, but are not limited to, the following:** + Understanding business objectives and mapping specific data sets to support desired outcomes + Writing data transformation and analysis routines in SQL and Python + Developing data products using various technologies based in the Microsoft Azure ecosystem + Deploying, monitoring, and maintaining SQL and Python-based data pipelines using the full range of platform capabilities in Microsoft Azure + Working collaboratively across one or more agile project teams + Providing critical input to data set design and dimensional modeling discussions + Organizing and leading discussions to review and compare data transformation approaches + Evaluating new technologies that may bring additional automation and capability to the Enterprise Data Services (EDS) platform **In order to be qualified for this role, you** **_must possess_** **the following:** + Bachelor's in computer science, engineering, information systems or related field + Ability to speak clearly and concisely, share knowledge and make decisions **The following skill sets are** **_preferred_** **:** + 2 years of experience with SQL, Python and related data analysis and data transformation technologies + Ability to create clear and concise presentation material that drives home key points to an audience + Experience with Microsoft Azure **Benefits:** Competitive Compensation Comprehensive Benefits Packages 401(k) Match Employee Stock Purchase Program Tuition Reimbursement Commuter Benefits Learning and Development Opportunities Strong Inclusion and Diversity Initiatives Company-paid Volunteer Days We're a different kind of chemistry company because we see our people as our biggest assets.
