Associate Software Engineer who wants to work in an autonomous,
modern technical environment! This position will be part of the
Lincoln Preparation Program (LPP) starting in June 2023.Background
Details:We are looking for a Software Engineer to join an agile
development team building a unique digital experience for our
Retirement Planning Portfolio. This work ranges from enhancing
existing capabilities with the utmost emphasis on the customer
experience, to adding new features and functionality that our
customers truly desire. All this while continuing to support and
improve upon our CI/CD pipeline and cloud infrastructure (AWS).We
strive to collaborate effectively with User Experience and Product
Management to create industry leading solutions that will help our

results!**About the Program:**_Lincoln Preparation Program (LPP) is
a two-year development program designed to prepare high-performing,
college graduates for strategic roles within our company. The goal
is to accelerate the growth of associates within two years,
providing them with the tools to take charge and further their
career at Lincoln Financial Group. Program participants are placed
within one business area for the entirety of the two-year program.
At the end of the program, participants will have the option to
stay on their current team or explore other open opportunities
within the business._**What you'll be doing:**+ Constructing and
implementing software within a full stack environment (Front end,
API, persistence, integrations)+ Using HTML, CSS, JavaScript,
TypeScript and Angular 2+ to build a modern frontend+ Leveraging
Java, Kotlin and Spring Boot in building a reliable backend+
Managing the full lifecycle of web application development; from
designing, building, testing, deploying, to monitoring+ Using tools
such as Gitlab, SonarQube, Splunk, Confluence, to drive operations
and collaboration+ Champion lean-Agile, DevOps principles and
practices (e.g. CI/CD; you build it, you own it), and independent
architecture, while supporting a culture of innovation and
continuous learning**What we're looking for:**_Must-haves:_+ Senior
or recent graduate (within 2 years) - must obtain 4-Year/Bachelor's
degree by June 2023?- Minimum Required+ A minimum GPA of 3.0+
Beginner experience with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, TypeScript, and
Angular+ Beginner experience with Java and Spring Boot+ Excellent
communication, with demonstrated critical thinking and
problem-solving skills_Nice-to-haves:_+ Knowledge/experience with
Amazon Web Services (AWS)+ Experience writing Unit Tests (e.g.
Mockito, Junit, Karma Jasmine)+ Experience with or knowledge of
microservice design (Service-Oriented Architecture) and RESTful
webservices+ Familiarity with Continuous Integration/Delivery and
DevOps+ Knowledge of agile methodologies and practices**Work
