About The RoleThe Quality Supervisor provides leadership to the Quality team and is responsible for overseeing the implementation and maintenance of our quality control programs and ensuring that all products meet our high standards for quality, safety, and regulatory compliance. The successful candidate will possess the qualities that are essential at a fast growing company including:

    Responsibilities:
    • Oversee the implementation and maintenance of the quality control programs.
    • Ensure that all products meet our high standards for quality, safety, and regulatory compliance.
    • Develop and implement quality assurance procedures and policies.
    • Monitor and audit production processes to ensure compliance with GMP, FDA, and GFSI regulations.
    • Investigate and resolve any quality control issues and non-conformances.
    • Develop and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders to ensure that quality control programs are effectively implemented.
    • Train and mentor employees on quality control processes and procedures.
    • Develop and maintain documentation related to quality control processes and procedures.
    • Work with the Quality Director to develop and implement quality improvement initiatives.
    • Manage and lead a team of quality control technicians.
      Requirements:
      • Bachelor's degree in food science, microbiology, or a related field and/or
      • 5+ years of experience in quality control in the food industry.
      • Deep understanding of GMP's, FDA regulations for food, and GFSI standards.
      • Strong leadership skills and the ability to manage change in a fast-growing company.
      • Ethical and motivated with a strong commitment to quality.
      • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
      • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
      • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
