DescriptionThe University of Nevada, Reno Athletics is hiring
multiple Facilities and Operations Student Assistant(s) for its
Facilities and Operations department. These positions were created
to benefit the Athletics Department as well as provide leadership
and development opportunities for students in assisting with
department operations. The Facilities and Operations Student
Assistant(s) will be required to assist with the following tasks
including, but not limited to:
- Assists with day-to-day activities within the Facilities and
Operations Department including moving equipment, set up and
teardown of all home athletics events.
- Be on-site and available to assist with facilities tasks
throughout athletic events, including those at Mackay Stadium.
- Perform light custodial duties to ensure the cleanliness of all
Athletic Facilities.
- Assist with the daily maintenance and upkeep of Athletic
Facilities.
- Act with interest of the Athletics Department.
- All other duties as assigned.RequiredQualifications
- Must be an active UNR student in good academic standing.
- Each student worker will have Office Hours & Events
- Each student worker must work at least two events, per
month.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Enthusiastic, with a desire to work hard and have fun.
- Must be a team player with leadership skills.
- Ability to lift to 50 lbs
- Will be trained in proper use of all necessary equipment, but
familiarity with and ability to use various power tools a
