Job Description:
The Lead Bartender is responsible for overseeing the
establishment's bar operations as well as other bartenders during
the shift. Anticipating needs of the guests and responding politely
to their requests are musts, all while maintaining the free spirit
and enthusiasm of the adventurous mountain atmosphere. This job
description is intended to be a broad description of duties. You
will be expected to carry-out all responsibilities in accordance

Responsibilities: Prioritize and perform multiple functions
simultaneously in a fast-paced environment. Demonstrate experience
in handling complaints and resolving grievances to ensure guest
satisfaction. Participate in monthly inventory process to produce
accurate financial information. Work with General Manager to
develop and refine bar offerings. Maintain par and inventory levels
and communicate supply needs. Create and complete bar prep list
daily based on projected business levels. Comply with New Mexico
Alcohol Laws at all times. Train other bartenders on drink-making
and service standards. Accept payments, issue receipts, operate
Point of Sale system. Ability to review financial information for
accuracy and identify problem areas. Prepare all beverage items
according to standard recipes and as specified on guest check to
ensure consistency of product. Transport beverage and garnish
product from storage areas to bar. Keep all refrigeration,
equipment, and work areas in clean, sanitary, working condition to
comply with health department regulations. Perform additional
responsibilities, although not detailed, as requested by
management. Follow recipes and portion sizes correctly to maintain
ideal bar cost and minimize waste. Follow checklists and other
guidelines for opening and closing duties. Personal Skills: Strong

Qualifications & Knowledge: Must be at least 21 years of age or
older and must already have or be willing to complete the New
Mexico Alcohol Server and Food Handler Certifications upon hire.
Minimum 1 year's experience in a high-volume restaurant and some
leadership experience preferred. Ambition to grow and cultivate
into higher position. Working knowledge of the fundamentals of
bartending. Ability to read and employ math skills to follow
recipes Ability to communicate in a positive and productive manner
performing duties. Ability to work a flexible schedule including
weekends, holidays, and evenings. Work Environment: Must be able to
work in a fast-paced environment. TSVI is located in a
high-altitude alpine environment. Position may require travel on
uneven, snow-packed, or icy terrain and may be exposed to wet, cold
and/or humid conditions.Physical Demands of Position Include: Will
often lift up to 10 pounds, and occasionally up to 50
pounds.Background Check Positions dealing with children, of safety
sensitive and/or confidential nature, require driving or positions
that handle cash may require a background check and MVR check.
