Martis Camp Club's Lookout Lodge restaurant is winter dining at
its best. Just off the private ski hill and lift, the Lookout Lodge
dining team serves members and their families as they head to and
return from a Tahoe-perfect day on the slopes. The floor to ceiling
windows with a beautiful view doesn't hurt either! The -Lookout
Lodge FOH team is looking for a winter season Food Runner -either
seasonal fulltime or seasonal part time to wow the members with
delicious food and amazing service. -The ideal fit for this
position is someone with experience in serving who approaches
interactions in a service minded way and works well in a team. Our
aim is to provide members and their families amazing service -while
creating a warm and friendly environment in which to relax. This
position is a Seasonal position for the winter season. The -Food
Runner is responsible for providing Club Members and guests with
the finest service in the dining room while creating a warm and
friendly environment. -Job duties include but are not limited
to:
- Attending members and guests with impeccable dining service,
food knowledge, and thoughtfulness
- Delivering orders from the kitchen to member's tables quickly
and accurately
- Protect members by adhering to sanitation, safety, and alcohol
beverage control policies
- Prepare room for dining and setting decorations
- Stay updated on current specialties and menu changes
- Transmit orders to bar and kitchen accurately and in a timely
manner, identifying any special dietary needs and special requests
and acting as point of contact between kitchen and floor
- Keep culinary team informed by monitoring timing and
progression of the meals
- Be familiar with Fine Dining sequence of service and deliver
orders accordingly
- Maintain table setting by removing courses as completed;
replenishing utensils; maintaining water and beverage service;
being alert to member spills or other special needs
- Obtain revenues by charging the appropriate member account
promptly in POS system
- Perform basic restaurant side-work and additional cleaning
tasks as needed or directed by supervisor
- Assist with special events as needed
- Promptly address service issues and refer members to management
when necessary
- Other duties as assigned by the Dining Manager, F&B
Director, Bar Manager -Physical requirements:
- Must be able to stand and walk for up to 8 hours at a time with
one 30-minute lunch break and two ten-minute breaks
- Must be able to safely lift, carry, or transport food and
drinks from kitchen to table
- Must be able to grip silverware, dishware, and drinkware
safely
- Must be able to safely kneel, bend, twist
- Must be able to safely lift/carry up to 20 pounds max at one
time -Other requirements:
- Must pass a pre-employment drug screen (excludes marijuana
results for 21 and over)
- Must have a minimum of one of year experience in a Fine Dining
environment
- Must have current ServSafe certification
- Must be professional at all times in grooming and
communication
- Must engage all (members, guests, fellow Ambassadors) in a
polite and friendly manner
