Job Description:
Position Purpose:
Under the direction of the Director of HR Business Partner this
position will advise and assist leaders and employees on employee
issues and concerns through communicating, interpreting and
recommending appropriate use of human resource policies and
procedures, services, and programs offered by Renown Health.
The incumbent will also be first point of contact to assist
employees with walk in traffic to the HR office assisting with
general inquiries regarding employee benefit and enrichment
programs, policy questions, employment and transfer requests,
etc.
Nature and Scope:
The incumbent will advise and assist management and employees to
respond to employee issues and concerns by interpreting applicable
HR policies and procedures and making responsible recommendations
in these areas as necessary and appropriate; initiate
recommendations for appropriate measures to address underlying
systemic problems or issues represented by the expressed concern,
including but not limited to, suggestions on policy clarification
or development, appropriate training or other development
interventions.
Serve in a specialist, liaison capacity for the Human Resources
Business Partners to ensure thorough investigations and follow up
with employee and leadership issues to be consistent and equitable
in the application of HR policies and procedures. Provide support
on implementing major organization-wide projects, including but not
limited to, employee engagement surveys, employee enrichment
programs, employee benefits programs, multi-cultural awareness and
sensitivity programs and employee advocacy/conflict resolution
procedures. Identify problem employee relations areas that impede
organizational progress; recommend appropriate interventions and/or
other corrective actions as needed.
Apprise Director, of organizational issues, problems or trends;
prepare reports, analyses and other written communication setting
forth progress, adverse trends and appropriate recommendations or
conclusions as necessary or requested. This position will also
assist the Director and HRBPs with projects and events as needed.
The role will collect, research best practice and new policy or
program initiatives in designed to enhance delivery and quality of
service.

Minimum Qualifications: Requirements - Required and/or
Preferred
Education:
Must have college-level knowledge of English language, including
reading, writing and speaking English. Bachelor's Degree in
Organizational Development, Organizational Behavior, Human
Resources, Business Administration, or related field. Proven
experience in a similar role may be substituted for degree.
Experience:
Experience as an HR generalist, recruitment, or employee relations
required.
License(s):
None.
Certification(s):
PHR or SHRM-CP preferred
Computer / Typing:
Proficiency in word-processing, spreadsheet and data base
applications required.
Must be proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, including
Outlook,PowerPoint, Excel and Word andhave the ability to use the
computer to complete online learning requirements for job-specific
competencies, access online forms and policies, complete online
benefits enrollment, etc.
