Talent Acquisition Specialist
Position Summary
This position is responsible for the full cycle of recruiting in-house including job posting management on all websites we utilize, researching prospective candidates, sourcing candidates when necessary, conducting phone interviews, scheduling face to face interviews, scheduling leader face to face interviews, extending offers and declining unqualified candidates, and completing necessary paperwork and processes to on-board our new hires. The Talent Acquisition Specialist pro-actively works with hiring leaders and HR Business Partners to tailor to their specific hiring needs, their team's specific culture and fit, follow up on new hires and anticipate future talent needs for each specific team and hiring leader.
Essential Functions


  • Develop, implement, and maintain recruiting programs
  • Develop and manage Internship program, to include attending job fairs and other events
  • Provide full cycle recruitment support to managers across the company
  • Onboard and conduct new hire orientations
  • Effectively and efficiently source and screen candidates at scale
  • Create and manage talent pipelines for all position
  • Perform specific research as requested
  • Comply with federal, state, and local legal requirements by studying existing and new legislation and trends, enforcing adherence to requirements, and advising management on needed actions
  • Enhance department and organization reputation by accomplishing new and different requests and exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments
  • Responsible for process improvements, documenting processes/desktop procedures, keeping processes/desktop procedures updated, and identifying ways to reduce costs
  • Conduct pre-employment drug testing and background checks
  • Provide excellent internal and external customer service
  • Must be able to operate a vehicle in a safe manner
  • Must be available to travel to other company facilities

    Education, Experience, and Skills Required

    • A degree in Human Resources, or a related field or the equivalent combination of experience and education
    • Minimum of 7 years of recruitment experience, a PHR is preferred
    • ATS experience a must, preferably with WFN, SmartRecruiters, or something similar
    • Proven track record of success in high volume recruiting
    • Practical experience using advanced sourcing techniques
    • Must be resourceful with strong analytical skills
    • Ability to think creatively to solve problems
    • Must have the ability to work independently
    • Must be detail oriented with a good work ethic and be able to maintain confidentiality in daily operations
    • Must have excellent communication skills both written and verbal
    • Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills
    • Must be able to use and acquire knowledge of a variety of computer software applications in word processing, spreadsheets, database and presentation. Must be proficient in MS Word, Excel, Power Point and use of the Internet, with working knowledge of HRIS systems
    • Must be able to read, write and speak English at a level which will permit the employee to accurately understand and communicate information to safely and efficiently perform the job duties
    • Must be team-oriented and demonstrate the ability to work with cross functional teams
