Kindred at Home is the first home health agency in the U.S. to
use MyNICaS™ to help treat heart and other chronic conditions at
home. MyNICaS is a portable, non-invasive hemodynamic monitoring
device that measures cardiovascular, respiratory and fluid
parameters to guide targeted intervention adjustments. It provides
valid, reliable data as accurate as Swan-Ganz Thermodilution –
without the need for a pulmonary artery catheter and
MyNICaS provides predictive data that reveals warning signs
before patients become symptomatic, reducing emergent situations.
Kindred at Home clinicians can now proactively monitor patients’
response to medication adjustments, nutrition and activity. The
easy-to-read reports are also a powerful tool for efficiently
informing physicians and motivating patients to make cumulative
lifestyle adjustments that improve their wellbeing.
