Position Description:At a GlanceLegrand has an exciting opportunity for a Facilities & Operations Assistant to join the Server Tech Team in Reno, NV. Reporting to the Site Sustainability & Facilities Manager, the Facilities & Operations Assistant will maintain general facilities cleanliness, including organization and sanitization of Production, Warehouse, and office areas, along with light maintenance responsibilities. This position will also support various sustainability and facilities initiatives, such as sorting compostable/recyclable items, recording waste metrics, and other projects. The Facilities & Operations Assistant, as with all members of the Server Technology Team, is expected to promote a positive attitude, demonstrate initiative, professionalism, personal awareness, integrity, and exercise confidentiality.What Will You Do?MAIN JOB DUTIES:Responsible for cleanliness of Production, Warehouse, and office areas, including removal of discarded materials, box breakdown, sanitizing, and using cardboard compactor (baler).Wrap and strap pallets in preparation for shipping.Utilize pallet jack and/or forklift to move inventory.Maintain general facility cleanliness, including sweeping warehouse and production areas, 5S projects, and basic warehouse/facilities organization.Clean and sanitize as needed, including common areas (e.g., restrooms, breakroom, lobby), office space (e.g., cubicles, conference rooms), and common touch points (e.g., light switches, door handles).Monitor and replenish packaging, break room, common areas, and restroom supplies daily.Assist with composting program; sort food and other compostable items.Record recycling and waste metrics daily.Assist in setting up, breaking down, and cleaning up after meetings and events.Report any facilities findings and unsafe situations.Maintain compliance with all ISO regulations and procedures.Perform other duties as assigned.Qualifications:Required SkillsEDUCATION:High school diploma or general education degree (GED). EXPERIENCE:Training provided - no prior experience/machinery training required.
