We are dedicated to innovation and staying up to date with technology advancements and have a desire to help our clients navigate changing demands and regulatory compliance, while providing a cost-effective competitive advantage.Key ResponsibilitiesResponsible for conceptual estimating, cost analysis and estimate coordination and consolidationReviews the design scope and develop quantitiesPerforms productivity analysis of estimates, prepare contingency, escalation and reconciliations for estimatesPrepares contingency, escalation and reconciliations for estimatesPerforms comparisons of scope, quantities and cost data between projectsPrepares management presentations and develop the estimate basisUpdates and maintain historical cost dataReviews designs and specifications for cost effectiveness and suggests alternatives where appropriateSupports continuous improvement efforts and the change management effects associated with the implementation of improvementsManagement ResponsibilitiesIndividual ContributorPreferred QualificationsBS or MS graduate in Construction Management or related field is preferred, but not requiredConstruction / Field Project Experience preferred.Previous experience in industrial construction estimating related to: Power: Conventional Generation, Renewable Energy, Transmission, Distribution. Or Oil, Gas, and Chemical projects.Previous estimating experience related to Electrical Discipline (Electrical & Instrumentation)Preferred Skills: . Complex estimating principles and practices including conceptual estimating . Cost analysis . Mathematical skills . Project design scopes . Consulting skills . Analytical skills . Interpret and understand specifications and contracts . Microsoft Excel proficiency . Microsoft Access proficiency . Good verbal and written communication skills . Good presentation and interpersonal communication skills . CalculatorMinimum Qualifications6 to 20 years of relevant experience, including some estimating experience, is required.
