General Summary of Job DutiesAs the Broiler Cook -you will be
supporting TiAmo's Restaurant.Essential Job Function and Duties
- Be responsible for preparing menu items as directed by the
recipes provided by the Sous Chef and or Executive Chef.
- Be responsible for quality and proportion size.
- Ensure that the quality and presentation of food products meet
company standards.
- Work at least one station, maintaining the highest quality in
finished product.
- Practice proper food handling.
- Practice proper knife handling skills.
- Use and apply proper kitchen safety procedures and basic
cooking skills.
- Keep workstations always clean during service time.
- Disinfect and sanitize cutting boards and worktables.
- Ensure kitchen and Health Department sanitation requirements
are always maintained.
- Perform all duties to company standards and policies.
- Ensure that no food leaves the kitchen without a ticket,
including manager's meals.
- Properly wraps, labels, dates and stores all food items in
their proper areas.
- Thorough knowledge of applicable Company and departmental
policies and procedures.
- Maintain an open line of communication with Management.
- Maintain a positive and professional demeanor during all
interactions with guest, fellow team members, and vendors.
- Ability to accept performance feedback in a professional
manner.
- Regular attendance to all scheduled shifts is considered an
essential function of the job.
- Arriving on-time for all scheduled shifts is considered an
essential function of the job.
- Other duties as assigned.

- Ability to maintain a clean and professional appearance.

- Must have job related tools.Ability to read, write, speak and
understand the English language. Bi-lingual (English/Spanish) is a
plus.Must present a well-groomed appearance.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- The ability to maintain composure in a potentially stressful
environment.
- The ability to successfully interact with all levels of team
members and management.
- Flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends and
holidays, with variable overtime.
- High School Diploma and/or GED preferred.
- Must be able to tolerate areas containing secondary smoke, high
noise levels, bright lights, and dust.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Machinery, Work Equipment, Programs, Software, Hardware
UsedOperate and maintain all equipment in accordance with
