RESTAUTANT SHIFT LEADER JOB DESCRIPTION

• Full time position
• Reports to Restaurant Manager
• Leads shift team
• Responsible for shift operational excellence
• Maintains correct delivery of Steak 'n Shake procedures and policiesRESTAURANT SHIFT LEADER REQUIREMENTS
  • High School diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Minimum one-year restaurant experience
  • Able to work weekends and different shifts
  • Passionate about customer service and restaurant cleanliness
  • Ability to learn, become proficient and certified in all positions of the front and back of the house
  • Ability to read, write, perform mathematical calculations and analyze data
  • Ability to lift 20-30lbs occasionally
  • Effectively interact with Guests to ensure we exceed their expectations with the highest quality food and great service
  • Motivate all Associates to deliver great hospitality toward all guests and other associatesRESTAURANT SHIFT LEADER JOB SUMMARY:
    • Assigns daily and detailed side work to each associate and checks completion before allowing associates to leave.
    • Prepares food and delivers service as defined by Steak 'n Shake procedures.
    • Coaches associates on proper food preparation and service delivery as defined by Steak 'n Shake procedures.
    • Protects Great Basin SNS assets by ensuring safety procedures:
    • Back door is locked
    • Safe is locked
    • Exterior lighting is working
    • Cash procedures are followed
    • Communicates to management team shift associate performance, training needs and associate replacements as needed.
    • Assigns detail cleaning tasks and follows up to ensure completion.RESTAURANT SHIFT LEADER COMPENSATION:
      • Hourly wage DOE
      • One (1) weeks' vacation
