Responsibilities/Duties/Tasks include the following; other duties
may be assigned:
- Assist with dining area and buffet line set up as needed
- Serve guest at buffet line standard portion size, with guest
requests taken into consideration
- Ensure the timing and flow of service is correctly paced
- Set up serving trays, carry trays to dining area
- Refill beverages, rolls, condiments as needed. -
- Communicates with wait staff, cooks and manager about guest
needs, business levels as needed.
- Bus tables, carry plates, glasses to bus station or dish
station
- Assist with breakdown of event
- Exhibit menu, beverage, and wine knowledge
- Adhere to all state liquor laws and state health
regulations
- Adhere to the Safety policy and all other company standards,
policies, and procedures.Competencies and Job Requirements:
Required: -
- Effective communication skills, oral & written
- Strong sense of customer service & safety awareness
- Able to understand and follow verbal and written
instructions.
- Have a neat & clean appearance in compliance with the company
grooming standards
- Punctual, able to report at scheduled start time

- Able to remain patient, calm and composed in a fast paced, high
volume demanding environment.
- Able to multi-task and handle high volume service
demandsEducation and Experience:Required:
- High School Diploma or GED
- One year serving experience
- Must have or be able to obtain a California Food Handlers
card.Preferred:
- Knowledge and familiarity with Squaw Valley ResortPhysical
