Openings: 1 Description American Traveler is seeking an experienced
NICU RN for a Level III or higher NICU day shift position in Reno,
NV, requiring a minimum of 3 years of exclusive NICU experience and
ventilator training. Details - Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU)
in a large regional medical center - Level II Trauma Center and
home to the region's only children's hospital - 3x12-hour day
shifts - 36 hours per week - Schedule may include weekends,
holidays, and some call shifts - Call requirements to be discussed
during interview - Floating to other units may be required up to
competency level - One additional shift pick-up required per
schedule period - Uses Epic for charting; training provided during
orientation or candidates may test out - Uses Kronos for time
keeping Requirements - Active NV RN license required; candidates
who have never held a NV temp or permanent license may be
considered but must apply immediately upon offer - Current AHA
certifications: BLS and NRP - Minimum 3 years of exclusive NICU
experience in a Level III NICU or higher - Ventilator training and
experience required Additional Information - Provide comprehensive
nursing care to neonatal patients, including assessment, planning,
implementation, and evaluation - Coordinates care with other
healthcare professionals as needed - Coverage for a minimum of 2
major holidays is required - Travelers who have previously worked
at this facility must have a 13-week break after their contract
ends before returning - Blocked scheduling is not allowed - RTO
requests must be submitted prior to consideration; time off will
not be added to the end of the contract to compensate for RTO -
Candidates must reside more than 60 miles from the facility to be

package is based on 12 hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject
to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
