TNAA TotalMed RN is seeking a travel nurse RN Med Surg / Telemetry for a travel nursing job in Reno, Nevada. Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Med Surg / Telemetry - Discipline: RN - Start Date: 04/06/2026 - Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, days - Employment Type: Travel Tele T7 Active NV license 2 years of experience, Experience with open heart surgical patients preferred, but not required ACLS, BLS, NIH May float to Intensive Care Units for a telemetry/medical appropriate assignment, medical-surgical units, as well Renown South Meadows Unit Description: 38 bed unit that is staffed with RN’s, CNA’s, Critical Care Techs (CCTs) and Advanced Care Techs (ACTs). Patient ratios are determined by patient acuity/workload and are typically 1:4 up to 1:6. CCTs monitor ECG rhythms on all telemetry patients 24/7. ACTs assist with transport, admit and discharge tasks, IV and Foley insertion, ADLs, and limited medication administration. Ancillary staff includes, but is not limited to Rapid Response Team, phlebotomists, EKG technicians, and Respiratory Therapists. Patient population includes treatment of CHF, Alcohol Withdrawal, NSTEMI's, sepsis, dysrhythmias, PNA, COPD, Covid, care of the post-procedure patients including pacemakers, ablations, and cath lab procedures, and OHS patients once downgraded from ICU.
