Oncology/Hematology Specialty Clinic The Licensed Practical Nurse
(LPN) in our Oncology/Hematology Specialty Clinic is responsible
for delivering patient care under the supervision of a Registered
Nurse (RN). This role involves coordinating care with various
departments and ensuring accountability for the patients assigned.
Candidates must have completed an accredited practical nursing
program, possess a current LPN license, and hold certifications
such as Basic Life Support, with additional specialized
certifications being advantageous. Our organization provides a

role, you will apply the nursing process to deliver patient care
under the guidance of licensed professionals authorized to
prescribe medications and treatments, or under the direction of an
RN. You will maintain accountability for the care provided to your
assigned patients and collaborate with other departments to ensure

nursing process to provide patient care under the supervision of
licensed professionals or an RN. Maintain accountability for the
care of assigned patients and coordinate patient care with other
departments. Qualifications: Education: Must be a graduate of an
accredited practical nursing program; equivalent educational
experience and successful licensure may also be considered.
Licensure: Responsible for obtaining and maintaining a current LPN
license in the state where nursing duties are performed, adhering
to all State Board of Nursing requirements. Experience: Open to
both new and experienced LPNs. Certifications: Basic Life Support
certification from the American Heart Association or completion of
the course within 30 days of hire. Additional certifications may be
required based on the specific position or unit, including but not
limited to: ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) PALS (Pediatric
Advanced Life Support) PEARS (Pediatric Assessment Recognition and
Stabilization) S.T.A.B.L.E. (Sugar, Temperature, Airway, Blood
Pressure, Lab Work, And Emotional Support) Six Assessment & Care
Modules Other unit-specific certifications as necessary Physical
Requirements: Must be able to stand and walk for most of the shift;
significant bending, stooping, and the ability to lift and turn
patients with assistance are required; must be able to push, pull,
or grip up to 50 pounds. Preferred Certifications: IV Certification
