Overview: In this role, you will apply the nursing process to
deliver exceptional patient care. You will hold professional
accountability for the care provided to your assigned patients and
assess the overall effectiveness of care delivered by other direct
caregivers. Collaboration with various departments to coordinate
patient care is essential. Upholding patient rights and ensuring
the confidentiality of patient information are critical aspects of

Cardiovascular Post-Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) Department
Information: The CV PACU specializes in the recovery of patients
following cardiothoracic, vascular, and electrophysiology
procedures. Shift: Three 12-hour shifts from Monday to Friday, plus
on-call duties and weekend shifts. Qualifications: Education: Must
have graduated from an accredited nursing program (Associate’s
Degree, Diploma, or BSN). Licensure: It is your responsibility to
secure and maintain a valid RN license in the state of employment
or a compact license, fulfilling all state board of nursing
requirements. Experience: A minimum of 1 year of experience in an
ICU setting is required. Certifications: Basic Life Support
certification from the American Heart Association or successful
completion of the course within 30 days of hire. Additional
certifications may be necessary depending on the specific position
or unit, with acquisition required within a designated timeframe.
