Job Description LanceSoft is seeking a local contract MRI Technologist for a local contract job in Reno, Nevada. Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: MRI Technologist - Discipline: Allied Health Professional - Start Date: 07/16/2025 - Duration: 52 weeks - 40 hours per week - Shift: 8 hours, days, nights, flexible - Employment Type: Local Contract Full-Time – MRI Technologist Location: Reno, NV Schedule: May include evenings and Saturdays (based on clinic needs) Travel: May be required to nearby clinic locations as needed Compensation: $35.88–$51.00 per hour, based on experience and certifications. Benefits: Eligible for full benefits package About the Role: We are seeking a skilled and certified MRI Technologist to join our fast-paced clinical team in Reno, NV. If you hold a current ARRT or ARMRIT MRI certification, and thrive in a dynamic environment, this is an exciting opportunity to contribute to high-quality patient care through imaging excellence. As an MRI Technologist, you will play a critical role in capturing the diagnostic images providers rely on to create effective treatment plans. You'll be working with advanced imaging technology and a collaborative clinical team focused on patient outcomes. Key Responsibilities: - Operate high-field MRI scanners and related equipment to produce diagnostic images - Determine appropriate imaging techniques and patient positioning - Ensure MR safety screening and explain procedures to patients - Monitor image quality and make technical adjustments as needed - Maintain detailed records in EMR and PACS systems - Follow strict quality assurance and control protocols per ACR guidelines - Keep the MRI suite clean, sanitized, and fully stocked Qualifications: ? Certification: ARRT (MRI) or ARMRIT required ? Knowledge of: - MRI/radiology safety protocols - HIPAA and OSHA regulations ?
