Performs radiographic diagnostic and interventional procedures in the interventional service line, upon the order of a licensed practitioner. Provides for optimal patient care applying departmental standards and protocols. Exercises professional judgement in performance of Cardiovascular and Interventional Radiology procedures. Provides appropriate patient care and recognized patient conditions essential for successful completion of the procedure. -Job Duties/Responsibilities:

• Responsible for admitting, recovering and discharging of patients from the Cardiovascular Lab. -
• Provides direct patient care, evaluates outcomes, consults with other health team members as required and adjusts nursing care processes as indicated to ensure optimal patient care.
• Ability to perform a head-to-toe assessment on all patients and reassessments as per policy. - This includes post-procedure assessments.
• Approaches patient in a kind, gentle manner. - Treats patients and their families with respect and dignity. - Identifies and addresses psychosocial, cultural, ethnic and religious/spiritual needs of patients and their families.Benefits for full and part time employees:

    Qualifications
    
    For the RN - you will need:
    • Current Registered Nurse licensure in the state of Nevada.
    • Current POC license within 90 days.
    • Current BLS certification.
    • Current ACLS certification.
    • Minimum of one year experience in critical care.For the Radiological Technoloist:
      • Current Nevada Certified Radiologic Technologist (CRT).
      • Current American Registry of Radiologic Technologists -(ARRT).
      • Currentvalid RCIS (Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist) or RCES (Registered Cardiac
      • Electrophysiology Specialist) certificate - -
      • Current Fluoroscopy Certificate.
      • BLS required
