part time at 20 hours per week, offers full benefits and a
convenient day shift schedule. This individual will function in
PACU - environment. - Provides direct patient care to infant
through geriatric patient populations. - Addresses the
psychosocial, physical and general aspects of care related to the
surgical environment. - Assists with the maintenance of PHA and
PACU equipment and inventory. - Participates in performance
improvement activities. - Assesses, plans, implements and evaluates
the care of patients undergoing surgical, pain management, and
endoscopic procedures. - Responsible for monitoring patient's
physiological status in the immediate postoperative environment. -
Communicates with surgeon and anesthesiologist immediately and as
needed about patient condition; receives direction for patient
management. - Intercedes to maintain optimum homeostasis. -
Proficient in pain management, guidelines and medication dosing. -
Maintains regulatory agency requirements, nursing and hospital
policies, procedures and standards. -Job Duties/Responsibilities:

- Demonstrates supportive -behaviors necessary for performing
bedside report using IMAP & SBAR
- Perform head to toe pre-procedure assessment on all patients
and reassesses post procedure as needed
- Ability to formulate an individualized plan of care as
indicated and evaluates for effectiveness. -
- Adequately assess and reassess pain. - Utilizes appropriate
pain management techniquess. - -
- Educates the patient and family -regarding pain management

Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited or NLN-approved RN program.
- Current Nevada nursing license.
- Current BLS certificate.
- Prefer one year full time or three years part time experience
in acute care PACU setting.
- Current ACLS requireed.
- Handle with Care (or obtained within six months of employment)
in required speciality.
- Must successfully pass any pre-employment assessment(s)
