  • Labor and Delivery - High Risk OB. Renown has 15 labor beds, 9 antepartum and 3 OR suites.
  • Position provides optimal patient care utilizing knowledge and skills within the context of the nursing process.
  • Incumbent is accountable for individualized patient outcomes over an entire episode of care.
  • Provides comprehensive nursing services to adolescent, adult and geriatric patients, including their families/caregivers.
  • The position is challenged to diagnose and treat human responses to health problems.
  • The incumbent must provide optimal patient/resident care through assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of adolescent, adult, and geriatric residents and families.
  • Demonstrates the cognitive and psychosocial needs specific to the population to be served and meets standards of quality as measured by the unit/department age specific competency standards.
  • When possible the family or those significant to the family are considered as part of the assessment, planning, intervention and evaluation efforts of the Registered Nurse (RN).

    • 2 years experience in Labor and Delivery - High Risk hospital.
      • Schedule Information
      • Shift: NIGHTS - May be required to float to other maternal units, PP and NICU.
      • Weekly Guaranteed Hours: 36.
      • Call Requirements: none.

        • Facility Department/Cost Center: 200206.
          • Additional Details
          • Travelers may be required to float to the needs of the organization up to their competency level.
          • May be required to work major holidays and pick up one additional shift during schedule period.
          • Renown has the right to call off, without penalty, 48 hours, for low census per 13-week contract. This may be full or partial shifts.
          • Schedule varies based on department needs. Schedule can include weekends, holidays, and some call shifts.
