  • This position provides optimal patient care utilizing knowledge and skills within the context of the nursing process.
  • The incumbent is accountable for individualized patient outcomes over an entire episode of care.
  • Provides comprehensive nursing services to adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients, including their families/caregivers.
  • Challenged to diagnose and treat human responses to health problems.
  • Coordinates care between other professionals as needed.
  • Requires a scientific knowledge base and ongoing growth and learning.
  • The RN coordinates care between other professionals as needed.
    • Job Requirements
    • Minimum 2 years of telemetry experience.
    • Candidate will be required to pass a telemetry competency exam, to include identifying and measuring rhythm strips.
      • Schedule Information
      • Shift: 3x12, Days, 0645 - 1915
      • Schedule includes weekends, holidays, and some call shifts.
      • May be required to pick up one additional shift during schedule period.
        • Unit Specific Information
        • Patient population includes treatment of CHF, Alcohol Withdrawal, NSTEMIs, sepsis, dysrhythmias, PNA, COPD, Covid, post-procedure patients including pacemakers, ablations, and cath lab procedures.
        • Medications include non-titratable cardiac medication drips (Cardizem, Lasix, Nitro, etc.)
        • May float to Intensive Care Units for telemetry/medical appropriate assignment, medical-surgical units, as well Renown Regional.
          • Additional Details
          • Travelers may be required to float to the needs of the organization up to their competency level.
          • May be required to work major holidays.
          • Renown has the right to call off, without penalty, 48 hours, for low census per 13-week contract. This may be full or partial shifts.
          • Schedule varies based upon department needs.
