Unit Description: -Come work for the world's leading private employer of Registered Dietitians! -Sodexo Healthcare is seeking an inpatient Registered Dietitian that is well versed in acute care -to join our clinical team at Renown Regional Medical Center, located in Reno, NV. - Renown Health has 800 beds and the region's only Level II Trauma Center. - - -Start with 3 weeks' vacation and 3 personal days!Reimbursement for AND dues, state licensure fees and CDR renewal!Money toward continuing education events!Up to $5000 tuition reimbursement annually! -Reporting to the Clinical Nutrition Manager the successful candidate will:

• be a Registered Dietitian and eligible for Nevada licensure;
• provide nutritional care for a variety of inpatients;
• provide back-up coverage for Pediatric and NICU(experience preferred, not required);work well with physicians, nursing and ancillary interdisciplinary staff;
• perform quality improvement initiatives such as patient satisfaction rounds and monthly test trays;
• educate healthcare team member, including physicians and nurses;
• have strong verbal and written communication skills;
• have good time management skills, be a self-starter and a team player; and

Qualifications & Requirements: Basic Education Requirement:Master's degree with completion of required coursework and supervised practice as dictated by the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND) -For those eligible for the registration exam prior to 1/1/24:Bachelor's degree with completion of required coursework and supervised practice as dictated by the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND) - -Credentials Requirement:Meets eligibility requirements for Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RD/RDN) by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) and will become registered within 120 days of hire. - In some states and/or facilities the RD/RDN credentials is required at the time of hireCertification/licensure as required by state(s) of practice.
