Position Description

The Division of Public and Behavioral Health: Rural Clinics (RC) is recruiting for a full time Clinical Program Planner 1 in Carson City, NV. Rural Clinics provides an array of outpatient behavioral health services for both adults and children in 16 clinics in 12 counties across Rural Nevada. Services are generally provided Monday through Friday from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm. Services assist individuals to achieve self-sufficiency and recovery. Any position that requires licensure to provide clinical services must be maintained, without lapses and be in good standing with subsequent boards. This position performs planning and analytical functions in support of agency objectives and program implementation. This includes monitoring quality improvement and strategic planning activities; developing policies and procedures; assisting with emergency/disaster preparedness; designing and conducting program audits and review for use in program planning, budget development, and resource allocation decisions; and developing clinical practice guidelines.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Master's degree from an accredited college or university in a social science or health related field, which included clinical intervention coursework, and two years of professional experience as a clinician in a mental health or intellectual disability service delivery setting.
