focus to the business.SUMMARYThe Medical Case Manager -
Non-Clinical supports the Nevada Army National Guard (NVARNG),
State Surgeon's Office, and the Deputy State Surgeon. This position
is responsible for all aspects of maintaining and supporting
Medical Readiness for 3,500 soldiers within the
organization.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESEssential duties
and responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be
assigned.Responsible for the integration of CNI Core Competencies
into daily functions, including: commitment to integrity, knowledge
/ quality of work, supporting financial goals of the company,
initiative / motivation, cooperation / relationships, problem
analysis / discretion, accomplishing goals through organization,
positive oral / written communication skills, leadership abilities,

taken.Maintains the confidentiality of patient information in
accordance with HIPAA regulations.Performs assessments, referrals
and case management for soldiers to support the medical readiness
of the force to include blood pressure monitoring and behavior
health under the direction of a NVARNG Behavior Health
Officer.Conducts soldier interviews concerning Individual Medical
Readiness (IMR) and Medically Non-Deployable (MND) status and
assists the soldier's chain of command in ensuring the soldier
understands his/her responsibilities in regards to their own IMR
and MND case. The interview is performed face to face, by
telephone, or e-mail.Provides the soldier with all supporting
documentation for the Soldier to take to his/her civilian provider
or VA provider concerning the medical condition identified during
the medical readiness, mobilization event, and command directed
evaluation, including any self-disclosed condition.Provides
pre-populated counseling statement(s) to the soldier in order for
the chain of command to properly counsel the soldier regarding
compliance with medical readiness efforts. The Medical Case Manger
- Non-Clinical does not counsel soldiers.Provides non-clinical case
management services in pre-approved locations for medical readiness
events.Educates the soldier on the expectations involved during the
case management process.Explains case management documentation
required such as compliant or non-compliant.Informs the soldier on
available resources to receive care as needed or to return to a
medically ready status.Furnishes military providers with mandatory
information and documentation as it is received and reviewed for
accuracy in order for profiles to be modified, cases to be closed,
or identification of soldier's being referred to the Integrated
Disability Evaluation System (IDES) process.Generates medical
charting notes in eCase system to include behavior health, under
the direction of the Behavior Health Office within 24-hours of
communications. Maintains at a minimum written/verbal communication
with all soldiers within the case management program every 30 days
to ensure a continuity of care and medical compliance.Responsible
for aiding in own self-development by being available and receptive
to any training made available by the company.Plans daily
activities within the guidelines of company policy, job description
and supervisor's instruction in such a way as to maximize personal
output.Responsible for keeping own immediate work area in a neat
and orderly condition to ensure safety of self and coworkers. Will
report any unsafe conditions and/or practices to the appropriate
supervisor and human resources. Will immediately correct any unsafe
conditions to the best of own ability.EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
REQUIREDBachelor's degree in Nursing is required and a minimum of
three (3) years' relevant experience.CERTIFICATES / LICENSES /
REGISTRATIONCurrent and unrestricted license to practice nursing in
the state of NevadaJOB SPECIFIC KNOWLEDGE / SKILLS /

proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office Suite and the ability to

prescribed style and format. Ability to effectively present
information to top management, public groups, and/or boards of
directors.MATHEMATICAL SKILLSAbility to calculate figures and
amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions,
percentages, area, circumference and volume. Ability to apply
concepts of basic algebra and geometry.REASONING ABILITYAbility to
solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete
variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in
written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.PHYSICAL DEMANDSThe
