Job Description:

Directs and overseas operations and processes for operations to include Quality assurance, Safety, Mining, Compliance, Research & development, Engineering & Maintenance, and Operations through a team of functional managers with complete understanding of all aspects of operations.

Ensures manufacturing, quality, and safety goals are met while improving the efficiencies of manpower, materials, and equipment. Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations and guidelines. Makes recommendations for process improvements. Oversees staffing, scheduling, and training for production. Relies on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of tasks. Leads and directs the work of others. A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected.

Qualifications:

• B.S. degree in Mining Engineering, Metallurgical Engineering or equivalent.
  
  
  • 10 + years in increasingly senior level operations and leadership roles with a solid operating background in mining and/or processing
  • Flexible work schedule required.
  • Time management and organizational skills a must.
  • Present quantifiable results and proven ability to lead team programs and initiatives
