  • Manage plant purchasing activities for items procured on a local basis to complement centrally purchased items
  • Analyze data, including enterprise requirements planning information and prepare consolidated managerial reports as needed to facilitate and recommend actions to ensure plant/product line optimal supply chain execution
    • Negotiate price breakdowns with vendors
    • Procure quality products and raw materials
    • Determine cost-effective inbound-outbound transport methods
    • Evaluate operational performance of the group to facilitate performance management, merit promotions, job transfers, commendations, dismissals, etc.
    • Support compliance initiatives and corporate commodity, logistics, and inventory strategies to achieve synergy across the operationExperience:
      • 5+ years purchasing experience in a manufacturing environment
      • 2+ years supervisory/managerial experience
      • Aerospace, machined parts manufacturing, engineering, cost, and/or procurement requirements knowledge
      • Bachelor's Degree from an accredited institution
      • Working knowledge of ISO-9001, AS9100 preferred
