The CMDB Data Analyst will provide process recommendations, governance for the CMDB, and help automate the Configuration Management process in the enterprise. The CMDB Data Analyst will collaborate with Cloud technology teams to build and maintain Cloud CI Class data models and define standards for relationship and service mapping.Daily work includes -

  • Performing operational activities as defined by Configuration Management policies and procedures
  • Engaging with strategic projects to ensure the CMDB delivers required functionality
  • Collecting and reporting on metrics as required
  • Identifying and reporting on CMDB noncompliance situations
  • Performing CMDB audits as directed
  • Identifying service improvement opportunities
  • Import and configure transform maps as required
  • Participate in Agile ceremonies on product teamBasic Qualifications
    • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
    • ITIL Service Management Foundation Certification
    • At least 10 years experience within a total information technology (IT) environment.
    • At least 3 years experience with tools and techniques for planning, organizing, monitoring and controlling IT projects.
    • At least 3 years experience with activities, tasks, practices and deliverables for assessing and documenting business opportunities, benefits, risks, and success factors of potential applications.Experience Should Include
      • At least 2 years experience working with ServiceNow, ServiceNow CMDB
      • At least 2 years experience in IT Service Management
      • At least 6 years experience within a total Information Technology (IT) environment.
      • Fundamental knowledge of Cloud Technology (AWS, Azure, GCP)
      • Knowledge of IT standards, procedures, policiesPreferred Skills/Experience
