Care Advocates - a dedicated team of health care professionals who compassionately and quickly advocate for our member's care. We go the extra mile, provide an understanding of benefits, schedule the appointment, navigate bills, and arrange the ride; why?? Because we care. The manager of this team requires a balance of people, technical, and strategic skills.-- As we expand our footprint in Nevada, Florida and Texas, grow our members and integrate more of our systems, we are looking for a director to elevate our department to new levels. This role requires a skillset that spans from detailed tactical execution up to long-term strategy development and execution. What you'll do: -- Collaborate with leadership to design a business plan for excellent Care Advocacy that relies on people management, technology development and change management. -- Translate the roadmap to every level of the Care Advocate team to define action items, expectations and accountability. -- Inspire the Care Advocate team to constantly improve their customer service and build an environment that facilitates their growth. -- Build a team that delivers efficient, member and provider centered services that exceed expectations. -- Operate a department that surpasses KPI benchmarks while incorporating member and provider feedback. -- Cultivate partnerships throughout the organization through clear communication and transparency, including internal and external partners, vendors both locally and in new markets. -- Mentor team members to provide growth opportunities. -- Incorporate data-driven decision making for resource requests and planning, including staffing projections, new technology and operational changes. -- Set clear expectations and responsibilities with direct reports that align with department goals and objectives, which includes having consistent and concise feedback meetings. Qualifications Regulatory Requirements: -- Bachelor's degree or higher with a preference of Master's degree. -- Six years of leadership experience including managing P&L, budgeting, forecasting and collaboration with executive leadership. Language Skills: -- Ability to effectively communicate in English, both verbally and in writing. Skills: -- Unwavering positivity and compassion. -- Business acumen to navigate a complex work environment and highly regulated business. -- Strong leadership skills and practice including role clarity, clear communication, honesty, accountability of yourself and your team and a track record of having difficult conversations with positive results. -- Expertise in software implementations, technology adoption and the understanding of which tools work best to meet the needs of the organization. -- Clear and effective communication and the ability to build concise presentations, reports and updates.-- Are you interested in learning more about opportunities with Prominence Health Plan?
