Job Description:

This position is responsible for successful network development, integration, and outcomes for Renown Health's provider networks, to include Renown Accountable Care Organization (ACO), Western Clinical Alliance (CIN) and Hometown Health. This role is responsible for the implementation of Renown Health's strategic plan towards value based care, and to help drive enhanced quality performance, financial results and patient/ key stakeholder engagement and satisfaction. The Director of Network Contracting and Performance role requires strong interpersonal, negotiating, and strategic thinking skills to develop, manage and sustain effective relationships with participants in Renown Health's provider networks and other key internal and external stakeholders. Administrative oversight includes: provider contract negotiation and management, access and performance analysis, and coordination with Provider Relations for Commercial, Government and Direct-to-Employer value based models. Develops, monitors and facilitates optimum performance from all ACO, CIN, participants and other entity providers. Nature and Scope --- This position has a strong knowledge of provider network contracting, operations, strategy, structure, compliance and regulations. --- Evaluates opportunities to expand or change network composition to meet or exceed patient and/ or key stakeholder needs. --- Drives participants and other stakeholder engagement and commitment to network strategies and favorable outcomes. Forges effective relationships with network participants to foster collaboration across the provider community and engagement in Renown Health's journey to value. --- Collaborates with payers (including CMS), care coordination, credentialing, network development, physician contracting, member services, payer relations, marketing, finance and clinical informatics to achieve goals. --- Leads the administrative effort to drive improvements in quality, total cost of care and improved customer experience for all enrolled ACO and CIN populations. --- Supervises all staff and oversees resource decisions for the Director of Contracting and Performance department. --- In partnership with clinical and executive leadership from the ACO, CIN and population health services, helps develop key performance metrics for quality, cost and experience of enrolled customers. --- Collaborates with Population Health Management Organization to achieve care coordination, disease management, patient/member engagement, and utilization goals. --- In collaboration with population health services executive team, helps develop agendas and facilitates ACO and CIN Board and Committee meetings. --- Is accountable for all reporting and regulatory requirements for governmental and private ACO agreements. --- Is goal oriented, personally accountable, adaptable, and able to lead and manage through change. Requirements - Required and/or Preferred Name Description Education: Must have working-level knowledge of the English language, including reading, writing and speaking English. Master's Degree in Health Care Administration, Business, Public Health or related field preferred. Experience: --- Ten (10) years or greater healthcare experience required, with 5 years or greater managerial/supervisory experience; commercial and government network (ACO/CIN) development, clinical case management or population health experience desirable. --- Prior experience in a leadership role and five (5) years' experience in new program development within a large, complex, multi-site private or public sector organization preferred. --- Exceptional interpersonal, leadership, relationship-management and communication skills. --- Ability to lead large-scale organizational change including major initiatives in payment, technology, and physician workforce management areas. Expertise in quantitative, analytic and quality improvement initiatives. --- Knowledge and vision regarding the changing healthcare payment and delivery model including value-based reimbursement, risk-based arrangements, population health dynamics, provider organization relationships, etc. --- Knowledge of population and public health, healthcare systems, healthcare policy, Medicare shared savings programs and ACO reporting. --- Demonstrated success in developing and meeting financial performance objectives. License(s): None Certification(s): None Computer / Typing: Must be proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel and Word and have the ability to use the computer to complete online learning requirements for job-specific competencies, access online forms and policies, complete online benefits enrollment, etc. Must be able to learn new software applications specific to ACO/CIN operations and payer-based reporting tools including CMS's ACO portal, HPMS, GPRO and others as needed.
