Job Description:

GENERAL SUMMARY OF DUTIES: Perform all mechanical, plumbing and electrical maintenance throughout property.
EXAMPLES OF DUTIES/ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: (Includes, but is not limited to the following)
1. - - - - - - - - - - - Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical and plumbing problems.
2. - - - - - - - - - - - Install or re-direct electrical circuits as needed.
3. - - - - - - - - - - - Complete work orders.
4. - - - - - - - - - - - Install new layouts for all gaming tables as required.
5. - - - - - - - - - - - Walk daily routes and make necessary repairs.
6. - - - - - - - - - - - Re-lamp throughout property as necessary.
7. - - - - - - - - - - - Requires regular, predictable attendance.
8. - - - - - - - - - - - Other job related duties as may be assigned.
PERFORMANCE REQUIREMENTS: (Knowledge, Skills and Abilities) Excellent communication skills; understand and comply with all hotel and departmental rules, regulations, policies and procedures; skill in establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with staff; read, write and communicate verbally in English; ability to perform basic math; working knowledge of plumbing, electrical and mechanical equipment.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
Education: High school education or equivalent preferred.
Experience: Minimum 3 years experience in above duties is preferred.
Certificate/License: None required.
TYPICAL WORKING CONDITIONS: Work may be performed inside and outside in all types of weather conditions, in small areas, such as attics, and high areas such as catwalks, areas that may be unusually hot, cold, noisy, smoky, dimly lit or brightly illuminated. - Work entails use of chemicals, and electrical and mechanical devices. - Constant contact with staff and guests.
TYPICAL PHYSICAL/MENTAL DEMANDS: (May be required in order to perform the essential functions of the position). Requires 90% mobility to include frequent standing, bending and reaching from floor to 6ft., climbing using ladders and stairs; operating equipment such as scissor lifts, forklift, pallet jack; transporting, pushing, pulling, lifting and maneuvering large loads weighing up to 100 lbs., use of hand and power tools. - Requires eye/hand coordination and manual dexterity. - Requires normal sense of smell, touch, and sound. - Requires normal vision range. - Requires the ability to distinguish letters and symbols. - Requires communicating by telephone, beeper and radio.
