Job Description As a Security Guard - Armed Patrol in Reno, NV , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government and more . As an armed security professional in a government location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, helping to deter security-related incidents and maintaining a secure environment. This role requires you to remain visible, conduct routine patrols, and provide outstanding customer service and communication. You will be responsible for upholding the highest standards of professionalism and integrity while working as part of a dedicated team. This is an armed post. Position Type: Part Time Pay Rate: $24.74 / Hour PLUS ADDITIONAL ARMED BONUS $3000 Job Schedule: DayTimeThur08:00 PM - 08:00 AMFri08:00 PM - 08:00 AM Responsibilities: Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations when appropriate. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner. Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and its perimeter, adapting to varying working environments and conditions as required by the site. Help to deter unauthorized activity through visible presence and attentive patrols. Document and report any unusual activity or incidents according to site protocols. Collaborate with local authorities and emergency responders as needed during incidents. Maintain a professional demeanor while interacting with the public, staff, and visitors at the government location. Minimum Requirements: Must have an armed designation as required by the role. Must have at least 1 year of experience in armed security-related, law enforcement, or military roles. Must possess a valid armed guard card or license as required by state or local regulations. Must be at least 21 years of age for armed roles. Must have a valid driver's license that meets Allied Universal driver policy requirements. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Participate in industry-specific security-related training programs.
