SGMSGAM-IRC4954 - Lead Systems EngineerThe ideal Lead Systems Engineer will have:
- Bachelor's degree in technically related field (a VMWare certification would put you at the top of the list!)
- 5 Years' Customer/Client Support experience
- 3 Years' experience managing employees or teams
- 5 Years' design experience utilizing multiple virtual platforms, (VMWare, XenServer, and Hyper-V)
- Solid understanding of networking protocols
- Experience with SAN/NAS administration and firewall configuration
This role also requires extensive travel to different client sites, so the Lead Systems Engineer must be willing to travel up to 50%.
Additionally, this role also requires the candidate's ability to obtain applicable licenses within one or all of the jurisdictions that Scientific Games conducts business. To obtain a license, you will be required to pass a very stringent criminal, drug and credit check for each jurisdiction, and your continued employment will be contingent on your ability to obtain that license, and re-certify as necessary.

Scientific Games is looking for a Lead Systems Engineer who is an expert in the world of Virtualization! This super cool and complex role will allow you to support multiple clients around the country, transforming, designing, implementing and migrating scalable infrastructures from the ground up, and also carrying out rescue missions on occasion!
Working closely with clients, stakeholders, internal and external teams, the Lead Systems Engineer will provide technical direction on the development, design and integration of virtual platforms. Managing cross-functional Project Management, Systems Engineering, and Business Applications teams, you will manage workflow assignment as it aligns with project plans and productivity, and also manage business unit operating expenses to maintain budget goals.
