Job Description:

We're hiring a pro-active bookkeeper for an integral position on our team. You'll provide daily support to the CFO by maintaining financial records of company operations and administration of the Accounting Department. Candidates should be experienced problem-solvers, well-organized, detail-oriented, and time-efficient.

We are looking for someone enthusiastic and ready to dive in and get to work. This position holds room for growth and candidates will be working directly with the current Bookkeeper/CFO. The right candidate will not just find a job but a long-lasting and fulfilling career.

Responsibilities:
--- Records numerical and financial data to produce financial records
--- Check the accuracy of business transactions
--- Perform data entry and administrative duties
--- Managing department emails and phone calls
--- Creation and maintenance of digital and paper filing systems.
--- Responds to and resolves administrative inquiries and questions
--- Performing accounts payable and accounts receivable functions
--- Performs other related duties as assigned
--- Tasks will grow with the position

Qualifications:
--- Associate or bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business, Finance, or a related field preferred
--- Knowledge of and ability to use Quickbooks software with at least Two (2) or more years of experience in related positions required
--- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or related software and familiarity with standard office equipment
--- Knowledge of state, federal, and/or provincial employment standards and practices is a plus
--- Knowledge of clerical procedures and systems
--- Adept critical thinking and problem-solving skills
--- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
--- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
--- Ability to work independently.
--- Ability to prioritize and multitask
--- Excellent time management skills
--- Possess a positive work ethic and a drive to participate as a member of the team
