Qualifications/Experience Requirement1) Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration/Management, Finance, a clinical specialty or equivalent, or a related field.A Master's degree in one of these fields is preferred.2) Effective communication, organization, and prioritization skills and proven ability to direct and motivate the workforce.3) Knowledge of Medicaid/Medicare regulations/standards, as well as cost reporting, profit and loss, and budget compliance.4) A minimum of ten (10) years of increasingly responsible account management experience, including a minimum of two (2) years Medicaid Management Information System (MMIS) experience, or equivalent experience managing a large-scale government or private sector healthcare contract valued at twenty million dollars ($20,000,000) or more.Role Overview:1) Primary point of contact with the State and DHCS Contracting Officer for all activities related to Contract administration including, but not limited to, compliance with all Contract terms and conditions.
2) Responsible for achieving a CD-MMIS that moves the Medi-Cal Dental Program (the Program) administration higher in the Medicaid Information Technology Architecture (MITA) maturity model.
3) Shall ensure the maintenance of adequate staffing levels to meet all State requirements and deliverables; overseeing all project management and scheduling, correspondence between the State and Contractor, dispute resolution, personnel issues with Contractor staff, and status reporting to DHCS.
4) Oversee the implementation of all quality assurance criteria and reviews to ensure Contract compliance and fulfillment of the Program initiatives. Also leads and coordinates the Contractor's implementation activities, including implementation evaluation, training, coaching, mentoring, reporting, and recommendation activities
